Moving & Handling
Key Mover Course
The Moving & Handling – Key Mover Course is designed for experienced care staff who regularly support colleagues with moving and handling tasks in the workplace. This course focuses on developing the confidence, competence, and problem-solving skills needed to demonstrate safe practice, support peers, and respond effectively to manual handling challenges as they arise.
Rather than training staff to formally deliver classroom-based courses, this programme prepares key staff to act as workplace role models and support resources, helping to embed safer moving and handling practices into everyday care.
